KoRo is a young, fast-growing company based in a beautiful historic brick building in the Berlin district of Schöneberg. The fresh colours of the KoRo website, which among other things offers delicious dried fruit and nut butter, are reflected in the colour scheme, a combination of modern white and a warm wood look.
The coat rack is the highlight on every floor. At first glance you could be forgiven for not recognising it as such, because the rounded coat hooks also form a beautiful wall design. The chairs in the meeting rooms are also a mixture of different colours, creating a cheerful mood and matching the youthful image of KoRo.
Much of the furniture was custom-made for KoRo out of wood: The reception desk on the ground floor radiates a warm welcome and fits into KoRo’s sustainable approach. The wide bench under the coat rack can also be used for storage. Work tables in front of the huge skylights extend the entire length of the room. Wooden planters were made for the sliding-door cupboards. After all, plants are also mood boosters.
Airy with a panoramic view as far as the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church (“Gedächtniskirche”): the top floor with kitchen is a spacious meeting area complete with flexible work stations at the long tables. Several areas are designed for communication: the long meeting table with a large screen, the lounge area with mobile poufs and the meeting booths with laptop tables. If there are also a few bowls of KoRo nuts on the table, so much the better: you can’t help but feel good here.
