Our new café “Zur Linde” in the LINDEMANN showroom: practical, well thought out and emotive, a meeting place for our employees and partners and an inspiration for our customers.

Love, lust and desire are the emotions associated with the cafeteria. The design for the colours, shapes, materials and lighting mood is based on this theme. Dark grey and black as the main colours for the floor, walls, café and kitchen area evoke the ambience of an evening location: as in a club or bar, where people flirt, dance and dare to desire. Skin tones and lipstick red inspire the colours for walls and floor of the coffee maker and bar area, the chairs and luminaires on the long table and the colours of the acoustic panels.

The lighting in the café is dim, there are upholstered dining benches against the wall, the atmosphere is intimate and acoustically shielded and is suitable for confidential conversations.
The stand up café is intended for an espresso in between times and a brief chat, as you would have at the counter of an Italian café.
The minimalist fitted kitchen in black with an open wooden cube seems to be floating. The lighting spotlights it, as if it were a “stage”.
The kitchen island with bar stools serves as a meeting point for holding short meetings with customers, business partners or colleagues over a drink and a snack.
Up to twelve colleagues can enjoy lunch together at the long dining table, hold informal conversations and have fun, thus strengthening team spirit.
The neon lettering above the bar and the row of bar stools create a casual, cool look, a place you can sit down with your laptop and work, exchange ideas and enjoy your coffee.
This is the cosy area of the cafeteria – the chill out area. Short hangouts with colleagues over a delicious cappuccino, customer discussions in a relaxed atmosphere or a comfortable laptop workstation for between times.
